Renting out my large comfortable home in Sugarhouse.… The house has an attached mother-in-law (MIL) unit which is optionally separated with some soundproof doors. The main part of the house is 4br/3ba and the MIL is 1br/1ba. The main part of the house has 2 entrances, a kitchen, laundry room with chute, basement wet bar, living room, dining room, multiple fireplaces, along with the bedrooms and bathrooms. The MIL is extremely private with a separate entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and its own washer/dryer units. The backyard is gated with mature trees. A detached garage and shed. The house is fully wired with ethernet has 1Gb/s+ Google fiber internet. All appliances have been replaced in the last 2 years including a new mini-split heat pump system providing efficient heating/cooling to every room in the house. The house is centrally located but still in a quiet neighborhood - only 2 mins to get on the interstate and less than 15 minutes away from the University of Utah. It is in a residential part of the neighborhood, and our side of Stratford has minimal traffic. It is within walking distance from the Sugarhouse shopping area, which includes a great park with a running trail, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. A little about myself - I'm a software engineer for Google, I live and work in Chicago. I enjoy hiking, biking, working out, camping, reading, and having a beer after work. I try not to be a "cheap" landlord, I care about this house and keep it in excellent comfortable condition for my tenants.
