The room is large enough to fit a king bed, desk, dresser, or whatever other room furniture you bring. The yard is truly massive for Santa Cruz. There's plenty of room for as many plants as you can imagine, plus a dog, plus activities. It is about a 5 minute walk to the entrance of Henry cowell sp, so you can do a morning jog or bike ride through the redwoods if that's your thing. The house has a pull-in driveway for parking up to 8 cars plus a 2 car garage. We use the garage for storage, there is plenty of space to fit your bikes, board, or whatever you are interested in. This home is a sanctuary for a gardener, dog lover, or mnt biker or anyone who wants it all. The house is fully equipped with furniture (except for the bedroom) and lots of appliances, dishwasher, laundry, garbage disposal, and more. Utilities are shared and cost an additional $150-$170/month on average for water, pge, internet. Landscaping is included. We are on a month to month lease for your maximum flexibility, but have been here 5 years. We truly love the space. A credit check, proof of income, and background check is required by the property manager. There are 3 others people living in the house, one female and two males. We are all in our early/mid 30's. We like to do things like climb, bike, woodwork, wine, beer, garden, build things, dog stuffs, and hang out. We have a cattle dog who gets along with most dogs but would need to meet your dog to confirm. Sorry, he chases cats so that's not a good fit. The ideal housemate communicates well, keeps the common spaces clean, loves dogs, is active/busy, respectful, social, and communally minded.
