The unit has real hardwood floors(painted though). Single family homes are the norm in this neighborhood so you won't be surrounded by apartments, or townhouses with revolving tenants, but rather stable families and other residents who own and take pride in their homes. The tenants over the years in this duplex have stayed multiple years and often are grad students. There is a garage too that is great for storage but maybe not for a car and an area that offers a great sunny area for a vegetable garden. Inside you will find all hard surface flooring with hardwood floors in the spacious living room that features a huge picture window overlooking the front yard and it has some built in bookshelves. The kitchen is spacious too and has ample cabinets and counter space. There are 2 bedrooms with hardwood floors and the larger bedroom has a has a ceiling fan. A full bathroom with tub and a laundry room complete this great place on Bloomington's eastside. There is a high efficiency natural gas furnace and window air conditioning(one unit provided, but you may want another for the bedroom). Sorry no pets except cats are acceptable.
