Come home to Lakeside , a sleepy western town in East County San Diego.… This lovely, spacious 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath unit is two-story and has vinyl flooring through out. Being a six-flex, you will know who your neighbors are and not have strangers constantly moving in and out like the large apartment complexes. Many of the tenants have lived here for decades and that says alot. Feel safe with the new Sherriff's Station directly across the street and catch up on all your reading at the brand new Library across the street as well. They have a weekly enriching story hour for young ones. This area is totally walkable. Everything you need is a block away: Grocery stores, Gym, Restaurants, Churches, public transportation, Hardware Store. Another block away is the beautiful, renewed Lindo Lake with picnic areas, a new fenced playground, skatepark, pickle ball, a lovely, nature 1 1/2 mile walk around the lake. You could not dream for more.
The beach is a comfortable 30 minute drive on nearby I-52 and Downtown just 30 minutes away. If mountains are what you are looking for, that is Lakeside's view and 20 minutes east will get you to the Laguna Mountains.
