It offers real comfort, a great neighborhood, and an easy commute to wherever you need to be. Please note that this is a sublet only and will not be available after mid-December. The home features a large, light-filled living room and an adjacent kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove and oven. Two bedrooms are available to the tenant: The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, and private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. A second room can serve as a study or a second bedroom. Both bedrooms open onto a small square hall with a second full bathroom featuring a shower and bathtub. There is also a small front yard. (There is also a third bedroom that will be empty but is not available for tenant use) The rent includes utilities (gas, electricity, water, and trash/recycling pickup) and off-street parking. Housecleaning will be provided once per month. Laundry access is available for an additional fee. No pets, please, and no smoking. Getting Around: The UC Berkeley Campus is a 5-minute drive, a 15-minute bike ride, or a short bus trip away, and BART is equally accessible. The Neighborhood: My home is in one of Berkeley's most livable areas. Berkeley Bowl West, Cafe Chiave, Homemade Cafe, and Tanzie's whose coconut cakes were named one of the best dishes in the country by the New York Times in 2025 are all within walking distance. The Berkeley Marina, Tilden Park, San Pablo Park, and Strawberry Creek Park are nearby for recreation and fresh air. No Smoking. Deposit required Current credit report, proof of income qualification and proof of permanent residency elsewhere required.
