One block to 14th Street bus lines and one block to 11th Street bus lines. Large separate kitchen with all new Samsung smart appliances, including 5 burner range, built in microwave, dishwasher, and full-sized refrigerator. Pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, toaster, glassware, utensils, etc. included. Large, full-sized windows in living room area, and high ceilings. Queen sized bed with large dresser and ample closet space. Sofa converts to Queen-sized sleeper. Seating for four at dining table. Full-sized washer and dryer. (Solar panels on home mean extremely low electric bill during a few months of the year.) Home is in southern Columbia Heights, north of U Street, east of Adams Morgan and Mount Pleasant, south of Petworth and northwest of Howard University campus. All these neighborhoods/locations within a 5-15 minute walk. Less than a mile to Children's National Hospital, Medstar Washington Hospital, and Howard University Hospital. Apartment is within a few blocks of popular 11th Street restaurants including Makan (Michelin rated), Wonderland, El Chucho, Queens English (Michelin rated) and RedRocks. Also easy, 3-10 minute walk to Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and weekend farmer markets as well as restaurants and shops along 14th Street. Convenience store at end of block and easy walks to Lidl, Whole Foods and Giant. Neighborhood walk score of 95 and Capitol Bike share rentals 3 blocks away. Banneker Recreation Center including wonderful, large outdoor pool a 12 minute walk away. Rec Center also has multiple outdoor tennis courts and basketball courts.
