THIS UNFURNISHED CUSTOM 2 BEDROOM/2 BATHROOM LOG HOME IS AVAILABLE AS OF MID-JULY 2026 AND CAN BE SHOWN WITH AT LEAST PRIOR-DAYS NOTICE TO THE CURRENT TENANT. Yes, we do require a lease. We collect 1st month's rent (pro-rated if moving in mid-month), last month's rent, and the equivalent of a months rent as a refundable security deposit. If a pet(s) is accepted, an additional refundable pet deposit may or may not be required. We do require renters insurance -- good insurance to have and very affordable. Heat is electric forced air, but there is also an efficient wood-burning stove! Tenant takes electric power account into their name. There is no natural gas in the property. Tenant makes their own choices about internet and/or cable TV. Property is on a well and a septic system, so no additional water/sewer charges. Tenant is responsible for snow removal at the driveway and exterior walkways; if the roof ever needed shoveling (and it hasn't in the past), that is an owner/landlord responsibility. Landscaping is a shared responsibility between the owner/landlord and tenant. Pond maintenance is an owner/landlord responsibility. We provide a very clean property at the outset of a lease and we expect/require the property to be returned very clean at the end of a lease.
