Lease terms

All brick townhouse in private Norwood area near Norfolk airport. Modern and completely renovated. Security deposit for 2 months required. Minimum of 12 months lease. Renewal of rent is automatic for same lease period after 12 months if renter doesn't inform in writing 60 days before end of lease. First month rent will be prorated based on nearest full week basis. No subletting allowed. Maximum of 4 occupants allowed. Maximum of 1 pet, additional $200 deposit and $50 per month added to rent. Renter must agree to drop in inspection twice a year to ensure max occupancy and pet limit are met. Monthly HOA will be paid by landlord. Tenant will abide by HOA rules and guidelines. Any HOA violations will be the responsibility of renter. Utilities are the responsibility of renters, they will be responsible for switching utility account starting with first day of rent. Move in condition checklist will be completed within 3 days of move in. Security deposit will be applied towards end of lease cleaning and move out repairs as applicable. Move out checklist to be completed 1 week prior to move out. Settlement of utilities need to be proven before unused portion of security deposit is returned. Tenant will be responsible for exterior area upkeep including, but not limited to, mowing grass, driveway maintenance, etc. Any improvement to landscape must be approved by landlord. A more complete lease agreement will be reviewed and signed before move in.
