Nice room available in South Eugene right by Chambers and Lorane Highway. It is in a beautiful well loved home in the Friendly/Lorane area. This room has its own porch overlooking the city and our wonderful yard. The home feels like it is tucked away in the forest. There are huge trees throughout the natural yard that provide an amazing view of the city. There are pear, fig, and cherry trees. We have daily visits by deer and turkeys. It is quiet and relaxing while being a couple minutes bike or drive to the Friendly Market, Albertsons,BiMart, or South Eugene plaza. The house itself is a unique design with an almost 20 ft high ceiling and has a nice wood stove for cozy winter evenings. It is an open concept with a sunken living room feel. The kitchen is decent sized and feels very comfortable to work in. The room is located upstairs and next to it sits a half bathroom shared with one other room mate.. The main bathroom has a giant tub and separate shower. The parking situation is a little tricky as there are only two spaces and you might need to park up the street or better yet not have a car. I need one of the spaces so there is but one available. My home is shared by two indoor kitties. They are very sweet and have climbing structures in the living room that they spend a lot of time on. Because of this I am not able to have pups live here and only the chillest of kitties would be a good fit. About me. I'm a just past middle age guy who is very progressive and open to all. I'm an artist and somewhat musical so that is what I spend most of my time doing. I keep to myself a lot but also really enjoy good conversations. I don't drink or party hard and want to reflect that in my home. I don't care if you drink or use marijuana as long as that isn't your primary M.O. Absolutely no hard drugs. Not even. The house has a washer and dryer and is heated by electric heat. That can get spendy in the winter if everyone keeps the heat jacked up. The rent is $775. The deposit is the same. The rental is month to month. No couples per room. I only want to live with two other people. So the breakdown for everything is: 775 rent plus internet, trash/recycling, and EWEB. The internet is decent here Deposit is the same as the rental cost.
