UNC in your life? Have you checked out Finley Forest?? If you want to be close to UNC but live in a modern community with a pool, tennis courts, club house, then look no further. Finley Forest is a well-established community with a broad cross-section of residents who enjoy proximity to downtown Chapel Hill as well as easy access to bus lines and major roads. The apartment is a second-floor unit with a nice private fenced in deck on the ground floor. The deck is all new last fall, with a lockable outside storage suitable for a bicycle. Both bedrooms have walk-out balconies accessed through a sliding glass door. A large walk-in closet and private bath makes the master suite feel like home. The second bedroom has private access to the second bath, and a generous closet as well. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Both bathrooms were remodeled in 2020. The great room has a nice fire place for a cozy touch. Hardwood floors are another high-end touch, as well as durable and easy to keep clean. Convenient coat closet next to the main door. The kitchen has been modernized and refinished last year, including new stove and over-stove microwave/hood/lighting. It has all the standard appliances, with a small laundry room just next door. Included are a modern washer and dryer. Modern LED light fixtures are an added touch, and save some money every month. The Heat Pump/ Air conditioning is just 2 years old, and far cheaper to run than most other apartments. This means real money in your pocket every month/1 The current tenants have been here for 5 years this tells you something. I give a discount if you renew the lease each year. I've been a landlord over 20 years. My apartments get regular up-keep and improvements in addition to repairs as needed. I live 20 minutes away, and my helper handy-man lives in Durham; one of us can respond quickly as needed. Further, I am HVAC Licensed. Most air-conditioning and heating emergencies during high-demand season take days even weeks-- if you need to call an independent company. I stock common parts and can respond quickly. If a longer wait is required for parts or labor, I have an emergency back-up system that I can install in a few hours to keep things livable. Current tenants moving to KY, earlier than lease expiration 7/31, so an earlier move-in date is likely. Lastly, recognize that we will repair/ touch-up walls and other wear-and-tear, clean carpets in bedrooms, etc, when the current tenants move out, and then repaint everywhere. It's messy so I do these things when the units are empty if at all possible. Also, the pix are representative, but I don't have current pix for all areas. Most lookers sign up on their first pass; keep this in mind if you come to look now.
