NEIGHBORHOOD:
Marcussen Drive is an ideally situated, family friendly neighborhood: one of the best school districts in California, close to the town pool, library, and charming downtown Menlo Park. Almost all new luxury condos being advertised are not in great locations - otherwise those would have been built up earlier! Examples:
- East Menlo Park, near Facebook: less safe
- Northeast, i.e. other side of highway 101: industrial area with no neighborhood / stores
- Very near 101: highway noise
- Portions of 'the Willows' that are near the East Palo Alto portion that's southwest of 101: less safe
- Portions of unincorporated Menlo Park (North Fair Oaks) - less nice, less safe, although greener.
- Near railroad tracks: loud / train noise
- Right on El Camino (road + train noise) or other busy main roads (Willow, Middlefield, Alameda)

ABOUT US:
We are a professional couple. We're not relying on this rental income, and we did not treat it as an investment and put in cheap things. We are super responsive to our tenants' needs, and when things need fixing, we have the money to pay and maintain the house for the long term, which we like doing.
