The room is approximately 120 sq ft and part of a family property that I have lived in previously (including the room itself). This is my grandmother's home that I recently moved back into long-term. The home includes: Shared kitchen, living room, and laundry room (washer/dryer included) Separate dining room Backyard (being worked on though yet has an English garden-type feel) One-car garage (primarily for storage) Ample street parking Utilities (water, gas, electricity, trash, internet) are not included and will be split. A small pet may be considered. I have a small terrier chihuahua. He's skittish at first though becomes friendly fast. Location: Adams Hill is on the south side of Glendale rolling hills. The area has bungalow-style homes, and pride of ownership throughout the neighborhood is evident. It's a beautiful area for walks (especially if you like hills and greenery), with views of large portions of LA just up the way. Conveniently located near: Los Feliz, Atwater Village, Silver Lake, Eagle Rock, Highland Park Downtown LA, Burbank, Pasadena Occidental College (minutes away), Caltech, JPL, Rose Bowl Easy access to the 2, 5, 134, 110, and 210 freeways The neighborhood has evolved over the years in a really positive way, with many charming local businesses nearby and a very cute old school gas station turned into a park a few streets away. About Me - I'm a 42-year-old LA native who grew up right next door to this property (it's a duplex, but the homes are separate). I'm a lawyer, artist, music enthusiast, and a yoga instructor. I am currently navigating chronic pain issues, so life moves at a thoughtful pace. I lived in NYC for six years before returning to LA several years ago. I value a peaceful, grounded home environment. I see living spaces as necessary sanctuaries from the outside world. Looking For - Someone cordial, respectful, and mindful of shared space. Clean in communal areas and generally not overly loud. (If you love blasting music, headphones are appreciated during certain hours.) Initial term: 6-month lease. If we're a good fit, a 1-year lease will be offered. *Will also consider month to month depending on the fit/situation.
