The condo is a fully self-contained home built from an original 1910 row house, so you get modern comfort with real character. The block is quiet and residential but easy to get out of: a 15 minute walk to the NoMa Red Line, plus bus options on Florida (C53 and C57), K Street (C71 and D36), and H Street (D20). Gallaudet University is a 5 minute walk and Capitol Hill is about 20.
Your room gets warm southern light, especially welcome in winter. The home has central air, hardwood floors, and a granite-counter kitchen you are free to use, along with a full living room with Roku TV and a shared pantry with full-size washer and dryer. Your bedroom comes furnished with a full bed, memory foam mattress, and storage underneath. Bring your own art for the walls, or borrow from my collection.
A quick heads up on the household: the tenant in the primary bedroom has a part-time dog, a friendly Australian Cattle Dog around 30 pounds. Entry is up a front staircase, so the unit is not ADA accessible.
