Nestled on the end of a street with no through traffic, receives a great coastal breeze, faces a greenbelt of wild vegetation that is home to a variety of animals and birds, there are paved and dirt running trails/mountain biking trails/road cycling routes right from the front door, as well as access to two pools with hot tubs. The supermarket is a three minute walking distance where there is also a sushi restaurant and a small bar. There are also outdoor stairs nearby that are often used for exercise across the street near the elementary school. You are less than 20 minutes to 16 hospitals in San Diego County (distances/times below). Tierrasanta is the eye of the storm when it comes to traffic, and you are right off a major freeway as opposed to driving into Pacific Beach or other crowded areas. More so, you wont find parking in crowded/dense areas like PB/OB/Northpark/etc, and its much louder in those areas trying to sleep between shifts. You can easily drive or uber to popular locations, the airport, etc... within about 10-15 minutes on average (distances/times below). Just tell alexa what you want to play. - Pool/Hot Tub: Access is 8am-10PM. There are two pools, both with hottub. One of the pools is 20 feet from the garage (no cold walks through the neighborhood). -Bathroom: 1 full bathroom with shower/tub upstairs. Activities: -Paved Running: There is a private loop in the community that is 2 mile out/back -Trail Running/Mountain Biking: West Shepherd canyon trail is right from the front door and leads into either the Portobelo entrance or Clairmont Mesa trail head into Mission Trails Regional Park. The park is 8000 acres of trails, rock climbing routes, nature watching, and bouldering areas. Other than that there is a comprehensive guide trail guide called Afoot & Afield at the house. - Road Cycling: Big loops start right here for the entire San Diego County. One of my neighbors rode for team shack for many years on all the major tours. If you road bike, this is where you want to live to direct access east/north/coastal areas of the county. Also we have aggressive hill repeats for hours in Tierrasanta (its called the island in the hills). - Surfing: A few distances for reference: Swamis 24 min, PB/OB both 19 minutes, Sunset cliffs 22 minutes. - Snorkeling/Scuba/Freediving/Kayaking La Jolla is 10.3 miles and 15 minutes. - Airport: SAN is 13.7 miles and 20 minutes. - Rock Climbing: Outdoors Mission Trails +further. Indoors: Mesa Rim is 8 miles. - Food centers: San Diego overall would take you forever to experience the culinary culture, but nearby Kearny Mesa (5 minutes) is home to some of the major Asian/fusion options. Within Tierrasanta you have plenty to choose from but its not some of the premiere San Diego cuisine. - Breweries: There are over 300 breweries in San Diego. We have a few favorites within 5 minutes including Kilowatt, Societe, etc Goodluck.
