This house is located in a nice neighborhood on the East side of Truckee. Although Truckee is a forest town, this house is not remote/secluded/out in the woods. This is NOT the house for loud groups. I have another house that is out in the woods and has never had a single complaint for noise. This house has vaulted wood ceilings and hardwood floors. There is a huge backyard with small hills for sleding. Recently renovated, it has new appliances and updated appearance. Only 5 Miles from Northstar at Tahoe, you can actually see the slopes from the backyard. Biking and horseback riding in the summer. For the kids, we have a play room, tree fort, and a 'ground' fort. Please note: there are recent changes in laws in Truckee that make it absolutely imperative that you contact homeowners before booking. These laws pertain to maximum number of people, as well as noise ordinances, etc. Some of them are very specific, and too intricate to go into on this site. If you in inquire before booking, I can tell you all about these recent changes, as well as anything else he would need to know.
