The kitchen/dining area looks out towards the west with large windows, making for the ideal place to watch epic New Mexico sunsets while eating dinner at a locally hand-built 'live edge' maple table accompanied by a bench made from old boxcar flooring. The living room has a newly installed EPA-approved wood stove ideal for cozying up in the winter. The bedroom is all by itself on the top level with windows to the east and west, so you can catch the sunrise in the morning and look out at the stars at night. The firm mattress is made by Sachi Organics, handmade locally in Albuquerque, NM. There is an office space with a standing desk as well as high-speed internet throughout the entire house. There are many recently-added amenities such as a smart toilet with heated seat and bidet, an Asko washer and dryer, a Miele dishwasher, an energy-efficient water heater, a water softener, and 3 units of mini splits for heating and cooling. You will find many cozy nooks throughout the house for curling up with a book or soaking in the surroundings.
