Do you have children and want to attend some of the better schools in Kern County?… This 900+ square-foot apartment is in an 11-unit complex on Rosedale Hwy, north of Calloway. The complex has a mix of work-at-home professionals, students, and families. This townhome-style apartment has two bedrooms upstairs and a full shared bath. Downstairs includes a kitchen, laundry area (hookups only), living room, and a quarter bath (toilet and sink only). The kitchen has granite countertops, tile backsplash, and tile floor; in the living room, there is tile flooring. New carpeting was installed for the upstairs bedroom, hall, and stairs. A small patio out the back door is big enough for a barbecue. The unit includes a separate 6 x 4 locked storage area at the side of the building. Two off-street parking places are allocated to you; no garages are available. The complex's location makes shopping easy. Some stores (Studio Movie Grill, Smart and Final, etc.) can be reached on foot .25 miles east. The Northwest Promenade shopping center is just a bit further east, 0.75 miles down Rosedale (Krispy Cream Donuts, Target, Home Depot, Walmart, Petco, BestBuy, and more). The rent is $1,611.00/month, and the deposit is $1,611.00. A one-year lease and renters insurance are required. Assigned Schools for the area are as follows (please check with the districts for availability issues): Elementary - Rosedale-North Elementary School; 2 mile (5-minute drive) and a bus stop 500 feet away. Middle School - Freedom Middle School; 2 miles (5-minute drive) and a bus stop 500 free away High School- Centennial High School; 2 miles (5-minute drive). Application Requirements Verified income of about three times the rent owed each month. If you are close, we can talk about it. 2-4 pay stubs are required from all adults to verify income. Confirmation of income will be done by Agent. $40.00 cash application fee per adult (anyone over 18). Each adult (over 18) must complete an application with all required documentation requested in the application.
