Two Story House Like Apartment with Historical Character and New Construction.…
If you like the character of an apartment built in the late 1800s but don't necessarily want to *live* like it's the late 1800s this one is a fun mix of old and new. Fiber optic internet (free shared wifi) included in rent!
The building has exposed brick, original character, and the kind of construction that predates cars in the neighborhood. Inside, you still get the modern stuff that matters: central A/C, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, updated kitchen, stone countertops, under-cabinet lighting, and lots of windows.
This is a two-story apartment with a large primary bedroom loft upstairs. The bedroom connects through a walk-through closet to a large private bathroom.
Downstairs is a second full bathroom and a large open living/kitchen area with exposed brick, new cabinets, stone countertops and plenty of natural light. There's also a surprisingly large closet tucked under the stairs, so you don't have to sacrifice half the living room to storage.
One of my favorite oddball features is the enclosed **sunroom/patio** at the entrance. It has exposed brick, wraparound windows and funky lighting. Have your coffee there in the morning, fill it with plants, or probably more realistically for Colorado use it for bikes, snowboards, SUPs and all the other outdoor gear you don't want dripping all over your apartment. The hard-surface floor makes it a great buffer between outside and the actual living space.
There's also a shared back patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill.
And one thing you won't necessarily see in the photos: the building has developed a nice little community. Current residents have ended up becoming friends, going to the same climbing gym, walking each other's dogs and hanging out together. It's definitely **not** a college-dorm atmosphere just a group of active, friendly people who happen to like their neighbors.
Historic character without historic plumbing, modern conveniences without turning the place into a gray box, and fiber-optic internet included in the rent.
