Permitted public parking available on Buena Vista Way. Parking for a small car on driveway is limited but negotiable! New kitchen: Refrigerator Freezer, large sink, 2 induction burners, ventilating hood, microwave, Breville oven, tile counters and flooring. Weber (propane) BBQ. French Doors and windows, skylight in WC. Walking to UC Berkeley or the Cheese Board and Peet's coffee. Small vege bed available in private patio area. Steinway piano in the Studio if mutually appropriate. The historic nature of the main landmarked property is reflected in the newer finishes in the Studio: wood and "stone" and lots of light via awning windows and french doors. A large chalkboard and 6 foot bulletin board wall for your art work, math calculations, thinking etc. Queen murphy-style wall bed with, (as needed) extra long Twin, wool area carpets, dining chairs, Large work table/small tables and couch. (Long work table/other items not in listing pictures) Linens/towels/dishes are provided. Utility fees apply if more than one person. Cottage studio is surrounded by an extensive botanical garden. We are beekeepers, (honey is amazing!) enjoy travel and hiking and live in main house across the gardens with our Burmese kitty Jack. We've 4 adult kids and a toddler grandbaby who visits from Alaska! Jim, a native of the East Bay is a writer and Kathy, a Seattle-born Californian teaches Suzuki piano.
