A lot sure has changed here in the two months since we launched our Featured Listing platform, so we just wanted to let you know about some of the developments at HotPads.
Foreclosure Heat Maps
With foreclosure rates at record highs, HotPads has given our users a way to track and chart the housing crisis with easy to use heat maps.
HotPads Foreclosure Heat Maps portray the markets hit hardest by the recent housing crisis and the increased foreclosure rates. These foreclosure heat maps visually illustrate the foreclosures per capita and display color-coded foreclosure rates by county and state.
Users can track the trends in foreclosure rates for different markets by comparing the historical foreclosure heat maps on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis. These stats are generated from listing counts on HotPads to give you an idea of foreclosure rates throughout the country. With this greater transparency to the housing crisis, our users can better understand the trends in their markets, as well as the foreclosure rates in other markets across the country.
In addition to the foreclosure heat maps, HotPads has also launched foreclosure listings. Now, users can search for foreclosure housing in the same way that they can search for a for-sale or rental property on HotPads. To view foreclosure listings, click on the "Foreclosures" tab at the top of the map.
Foreclosure listings are supplied to HotPads through an integration with RealtyTrac, a leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties. Housing shoppers will be able to search through all of RealtyTrac's foreclosure information on HotPads' map-based search engine by registering for an account on RealtyTrac.
With this new innovative platform, we are enabling property managers and housing providers the most efficient way to reach their business needs. As always, our goal is to guarantee the best results for all of you and your clients.
After years of working out of townhouses and mansions, HotPads HQ has officially moved into a "real" office- one with an unbeatable M street Georgetown location, great character with various stone accent walls and even a pitched wooden roof, and tons of room to expand in!
Thank you so much for your continued support of HotPads. And, remember, please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions-- we thrive from your feedback!
Sincerely, -- The team at HotPads.com --
