This is an uninsulated seasonal camp rented by the week. Ideal for us Camp: Quiet.. on a dead end road; facing west for sunsets; 150' of lake frontage for privacy; sandy beach; sound of waves lulling us to sleep; 600mbs internet. Camps are different from lake houses... as a friend of mine said, "Camps are camping with a roof, heater, warm shower, flush toilet, stove, and refrigerator, but its still camping." It's a rustic experience, which we and some people prefer, but lots of people want the fancy lake house... that's not this. Small stream babbles through the woods. The building's water supply is lake water. Drinking water provided. This camp is suitable for a family of up to 6 people and pet friendly. 2 Kayaks and a canoe provided. Good walking on the quiet private road. Newport for some decent restaurants close and Island Pond is even closer. Mountain biking mecca of East Burke 35 minutes. Turnover cleanings only available on Fridays, so we are renting it by the week starting on Fridays and ending on Fridays through the summer. $1,200 per week (peak season July 1st through Labor day) plus $120 cleaning fee, plus $100 linens fee if you want to use our sheets, towels, blankets etc. $900 per week plus cleaning and linens in the off season, which runs through mid October. Available dates: May27th through June 7th. July 26th through August 30th. Also available September 6th through October 18th.

The 2 other bedrooms have 2 large windows each and closets with built-in shelves and rods. One bedroom has a loft with a movable ladder for a play/sleep space or extra storage. The main floor is an open floor plan with the field stone masonry chimney in the middle. There is a colored concrete floor with in-floor heating in the large entry room, which has built in drawers, bench, and hooks and a small staircase that leads to the front room and kitchen. The kitchen has a 5-burner propane stove with a pot filler faucet, stainless steel fridge, stainless steel sink, large granite counter island, large pantry with sliding doors, and a glass front wood stove. Off of the kitchen there is a dutch door that leads to the large wrap around deck with incredible views. Adjacent to the kitchen is a formal dining area large enough for a 12-seat dining table. On the other side is space for an eat-in kitchen table, or open space for whatever you'd like. The living room is facing the views and has a double sliding glass door that leads to the wrap around porch. Off of the living room is a home office are with built-in shelving. There is a half bathroom, and coat closet also on main floor. The last floor is the walk out basement level. There is a half bathroom with a utility sink and second laundry hook-up. The main heat source, the wood burning furnace, and all of the utilities are all on one side and on the other are large windows and a door leading out the back lawn. This space has been used for a bedroom, a work from home office, a game room, and even workshops for different businesses. The house is heated with in-floor heating on 2 levels, wood and propane. There are 2 wood stoves as well as a propane heating unit. Also, a 50-gallon hot water heater. This home is extremely easy to heat and is set up to be able to leave for days at a time in the winter if wanted without worry about any damage from freezing. The water comes from a gravity fed spring.
