The house is nestled in a valley along a creek down a private lane, in a peaceful, serene and secluded setting yet only nine or so miles to Forest City, ten miles to Honesdale, eleven miles to Waymart and about 17 miles to Carbondale. Please orient yourself as to the location of the Village of White's Valley and Pleasant Mount to familiarize yourself with driving distances to your work and so on. The rent of $1600.00/month does not include utilities. There is a mini split heat pump system for heating and cooling and a wood stove. Along with paying the rent on time you will be responsible for all utilities, maintaining and replacing furnishings as needed. DSL and Datavision is available from NEP. Use of existing furnishings, trash pick-up, mowing and plowing are all included in the rental fee. We will require proof of income (3 times the rental fee), minimum credit score of 650, references, security deposit of $1600.00 (which may not be applied to last month's rent).
