Last year Forbes released a list of the top 10 cities for runners. The list included obvious choices, such as New York City and Chicago, as well as some surprise contenders, such as Boulder and Minneapolis / St. Paul.
But where do America’s most dedicated runners go when they lace up their Nikes?
Given our love for all things on a map, we turned to our friends at Strava who have visualized their user’s exercise data in the form of these groovy heat maps. From the shores of Crissy Field in San Francisco to Austin‘s Zilker Park, these are the most well-trafficked running routes in America.
