Southern California Renters, Expect to Pay More Soon

Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego renters, we have some bad news.

The economists over at the University of Southern California are forecasting a nearly 10 percent bump in the amount of rent you could pay by 2016.

The findings come from a USC Lusk Center for Real Estate report out today predicting more demand for rental housing than there are units to keep up, which means more money out of your pocket.

The average amount of rent for multifamily units is projected to increase across the entire Southern California region. Exactly how much depends on where you live.
