The seventh and final season of AMC’s Mad Men premieres Sunday, April 5th. This season will conclude the popular series “that revolves around the conflicted world of Don Draper, the biggest ad man – and ladies man – at the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce Advertising Agency.”
The show is set in the 1960s and the set design is true to form. For designers that adore Mid-Century Modern design, the set design is scrumptious eye candy. Mid-Century Modern design has cycled back around and has gained popularity in mainstream interior design over the past few years.
Interior Design magazine had the opportunity to sit down with Matthew Weiner, Mad Men’s creator, to discuss the hit show, his team, and the 1960s set design created by set decorator, Claudette Didul. Below are photos of the set, as photographed by Eric Laignel for Interior Design magazine.
