Gwyneth Paltrow’s Designer Showcase House

L.A.’s Mandeville Canyon is home to the ”House of Windsor”, a designer showcase home created by Windsor Smith and photographed by Veranda magazine. Gwyneth Paltrow purchased the home in 2012 with then husband, Chris Martin, for an estimated $10 million dollars.

Gwyneth Paltrow is an oscar winning actress, singer, and Estee Lauder model. Most recently, Paltrow has portrayed Pepper Potts, the love interest of Tony Stark, in the Iron Man films.

The house is reminiscent of a home you’d find in horse country. Each room was individually decorated by one of L.A.’s famed interior designers. The 8,000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 8 bath home is decorated in a traditional style, with curated antiques and an equestrian influence.

Design Trend – The home’s walls are washed in white, leaving the home’s curated design elements to take center stage.

Design Trend – Animal print is a recurring element in several of these rooms; animal print is common place within a curated design.
