Caitlyn Jenner’s transition from male to female has been inspiring to many, shocking to others, and intriguing to us all. So many things have changed over the past year for Caitlyn – her look, her wardrobe, her friends, her ambitions, and finally – the style of her home.
Caitlyn’s ex, Kris Jenner, took charge of decorating the Jenner family homes during their 24 year marriage. This time, the decorating project was all about Caitlyn.“I think what this transition has done for me is that for the first time in my life I am able to express myself,” Caitlyn says.
With the expertise of interior designer, Lori Margolis, Caitlyn’s Malibu home took on a more feminine style; the interior boasts a California beachy vibe with a touch of Hollywood glamour. The furnishings from Homenature offered the white and fluffy look Caitlyn was after. “Caitlyn has been making so many physical and emotional changes in the past year. She wanted her home to reflect not just her sense of style but her journey. She wanted something soft and feminine but also something that has strength,” Margolis says.
In design, the use of several shades of white is called – Winter White. White has many meanings when used in decorating: Innocence, Hope, Purity, Enlightenment, Individualism, Optimism, and Reflection. Each and every one of these words could be used to describe Caitlyn Jenner’s transgender journey and her rebirth as the person she was always meant to be.
