This is a beautiful brick apartment building built in 1939 with tons of Saint Paul charm. It is located right in the center of Highland Park on the corner of Cleveland Ave and Ford Parkway. There is always parking available on the street nearby, or if it gets full, there is a lot off the street, and the option to rent a garage. My wife and I have absolutely loved everything about living here for the last three years, but need to move to get more space since we are a family of 3 now. The management is amazing here, they are always understanding, and whenever we have needed maintenance, they have been there that same day. It is also located right along several bus lines that give you easy access to the Mall of America, the airport, and all the sports stadiums as well as both downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis. A major bus line that runs right by the building is the new A Line rapid transit which goes between the blue and green lines of the light rail, and also takes you straight to the state fair! Apartment features: Wood floors throughout (except kitchen and bathroom), large bedroom and living room, the square footage is mostly put into these rooms, dining room, heat included, water included, electricity bills are very low (highest ever was $36 when using 2 window unit air conditioners), building wired for fiber-optic internet from North Star Fiber (200 Mbps for $50, 8 times the speed comcast gives you for the same price). You can walk to tons of stores and restaurants including: Starbucks, Target Express, Chipotle, Panera, 5 Guys, Papa Murphy's, Highland Cafe, Dairy Queen, Patina, Half Priced Books, Noodles and Company, Lunds & Byerlys, Smash Burger, Potbelly, Bruegger's, Caribou, Pieology, Cecil's Deli (Best reuben in the twin cities), Punch Pizza (original location with special menu options), Cleveland Wok, Highland Grill, Quixotic Coffee (best latte I've ever had), Sakana, Agra Culture (opening soon), Menchie's Frozen Yogurt. It is also fairly easy to walk to Minnehaha Park and falls, just under a mile. We are so sad to leave this apartment and neighborhood, so we hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it!
