UNDER CONTRACT For sale by owner, ask today for details! MUST make appointment to view! ABSOLUTELY NO OWNER FINANCE. This beautiful 100-year-old Farmhouse and old schoolhouse sits overlooking gorgeous rolling hills and farmland. As you walk up to the house you notice the beautiful double doors equipped with an old-fashioned, brass, twist-knob doorbell and a spacious wraparound porch ready for porch swings and entertaining. Enter into the large living room and see the gas log fireplace for getting cozy by the fire and large windows that wrap around the living room allowing for lots of light and a view in almost any direction, with special care taken to preserve the old-fashioned blown-glass windows that still remain. The two bedrooms are extra-large and can accommodate a king size bed and dressers in each, both with huge windows overlooking the rolling fields behind the house and letting in plenty of sunshine. From the living room pass through French doors into the dining room and see beautiful hardwood floors throughout the dining, kitchen, and kitchenette areas. The kitchen boasts plenty of cabinets with a new microwave (2017) over a gas stove. The extra large 12' x 12' bathroom had a floor to ceiling remodel in 2012 with two large antique school desks installed as a vanity and a sink counter. The laundry room has plenty of space that can include a washer, two dryers, large upright freezer, with plenty of shelving and pantry and a new 40 gal. water heater(2018). Step outside to see the landscaping filled with lovely flowers and mature trees: four varieties of peach trees (with staggered maturity to provide a long season of fresh peaches), five grape vines, two asparagus patches, a pear tree, roses, lily of the valley, hydrangea and much more. The old red pole barn has two-thirds concrete and one-third covered with wooden floor boards to be removed if horse stalls are desired. A buried electrical line runs to the barn with its own 200 amp service. Near the barn is a water line and sewer hook-up for a mobile home if needed. In 2008, a 200 amp breaker with 16 positions was installed in the house to accommodate higher amperage needs, and electrical wiring was replaced throughout much of the home from 2007-2012. All electrical wiring is newer Romex wiring. Central heat and air was installed in 2008. The exterior has been scraped and repainted and fresh interior trim and wall paint throughout in 2017-2018. Porch floor was re-leveled and repainted and porch steps replaced in 2018. Elastomeric coating was applied to the metal roof in July 2017, giving the roof 35 years of life and creating a more energy-efficient home. Many repairs and updates were made throughout the home and grounds in 2017-2018. New carpet to be installed (living room only) or a $1000 carpet allowance can be made if contract agreed upon before of carpet installation. Updates and repairs still being completed until approx. June 15th. Home is occupied but viewings can be accommodated most any time. An appointment is needed to look at the home. More photos to come!!
