Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring to a viewing of the apartment?
Assuming you like the apartment, an application will be given for you to complete and fax back to the main office.
My credit isn't strong and/or I'm a student. Can I use a co-signer (example: parents)?
Unfortunately, the ownership of this building currently doesn't accept a co-signer and you must have a job that can support this rent and more.
Is there parking?
There is no parking garage in the building so none is available. Please read the description of the apartment above regarding parking information.
We are a couple. Is it big enough?
Yes if you don't have too much stuff. The bedroom can accommodate a king size bed and still have room for a large flat screen television! Also a large dining room table can fit in this apartment!
I'm interested in the apartment and am out of town. Can I schedule a showing next week?
It is best to check Craigslist to see if the apartment is still available and if it is, only call on the day you arrive or the night before.
When is the earliest I could I move in?
Apartment is ready now. There is a place on the application to note the best date that works best for you to move in.
What is the minimum lease period?
We require a 1 year lease.
Can I pay more per month if it is a month to month lease?
Sorry, we require a 1 year lease.
The kitchen looks impressive.
Yes, the kitchen is the best feature of the apartment and looks better than the picture. With this layout, tenants have gotten a narrow rectangular high table with taller chairs (from Ikea). Fits and looks great. This kitchen will not fit a large dining room table.
I just moved here. Where and what part of San Francisco is the Tenderloin in? Is it safe?
The Tenderloin is a larger area of the city that borders the downtown area. It is not Pacific Heights but being this property is on O'farrell and not south of O'Farrell (a much less desirable part of the Tenderloin and the area frowned upon by renters), it is still considered a great rental location for those that like the diversity of the neighborhood (restaurants, bars and clubs). The tenants (professionals like you) in our building, who had concerns when moving here, have been happy and safe. This is one location where you really don't need a car as it is so central to what is happening in San Francisco. Please check out this link for more about the area:
