Description
Conveniently located one block from H St NE, we have one bright and spacious bedroom for rent in a three story, 4BR, 2.5BA row house beginning June 1st. The house is a charming American row house with large communal areas. It has hardwood floors, central AC, heat, on-site washer and dryer, back deck with BBQ, and ample street parking. It's in a great neighborhood, with many options for nightlife and dining. All the conveniences of the city are within a short walk, including a Giant supermarket and a brand new Whole Foods. The house is nearly-equidistant between Union Market and Eastern Market (about a mile to each) as well as the Capitol and national mall (about 1.2 miles.) The nearest metro is Union Station (about a 12 minute walk), and we're only a block away from stops along the 90, 92, X1, X2, X9, other bus lines, and the DC Streetcar, which provide easy access to neighborhoods including the U/14th St area, Adams Morgan, and Chinatown. There are also several parks and bike trails nearby. The room is the largest room in the house and is on the second floor, in the front of the house. You'd be sharing the second floor bathroom with one other person. Rent is $1,350 per month plus utilities (typically $90-150 in total depending on the season, for water, electric, Fios TV/internet, and gas). The security deposit is $1,250. You also have the option to buy my furniture if you would like ($600 for everything - bed/mattress, drawers, bookshelf, desk, chair, 2 lamps, carpet, mirror). Everything is new and in perfect condition. You would share the apartment with three very nice guys, between 25 and 29 years old: two American young professionals and a French Georgetown law student. We're a friendly and respectful group, and we're all pretty active and enjoy taking advantage of all the activities that the DC area offers. We tend to keep things pretty low key during the week, but occasionally meet up for a drink, dinner, sports game, or movie. We're looking for someone responsible, sociable, easygoing, and tidy that wouldn't be opposed to having friends over every now and then on weekends. We've combined several social circles, and hope that you like meeting new people. We would prefer someone who is interested in staying for at least one year. If you're interested, send us an email with a description of yourself and any interests/hobbies you have. The room is available for viewing in the evenings beginning at 7 pm, and on weekends until filled.
