Spacious 1 bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment available for rent immediately. Located in Fort Greene, you'll be close to most Subway lines, Barclays Center, City Point, and walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge. AfroPunk happens every year across the street, and there is always something fun to do (great restaurants and bars in area). Neighbors are kind and keep to themselves, and there is a live-in super for emergencies. The apartment itself is still receiving upgrades (bathroom and kitchen) but are still clean and fully functional. You will have 1 more roommate besides me in the apartment.
About me- I am a freelance writer that travels often. I am laid back, as long as you keep the common areas clean, you respect your housemates, and you pay on time, you'll have no issues from me. No smoking, and no aggressive animals.
About you- Should be gainfully employed, with LEGITIMATE proof of employment. A background check will be done. Pets are fine, as long as they are trained.
Rent is $1000/month, 1st and last month due at lease signing. Rent includes water, electricity and cable/internet. $50 application fee. I am flexible with payment arraignments after 1st month (weekly, biweekly or monthly. Open to short term and long term rentals.) Rooms will NOT be furnished except tv and tv stand.
