About the building

Hello! We are Julia, Parker, and Tommy :) We are all in our mid-thirties. We have lived in Tacoma for some time, but recently moved into this home.… The room that is available is with Julia and Tommy in the Main Home (3br and 1.5 bath) that is pictured. Parker lives in the ADU pictured in the backyard. We are looking for a kind soul that would like to be with us for awhile. We are all community-oriented and hope to find someone who wants to live intentionally and communally. MUST LOVE DOGS. We have two rescue pitbulls who are really sweet, but have big personalities and require patience. We also have a cat who is indoor/outdoor. He's a snuggle bug and will love on you. We are mostly vegan (we eat seafood and eggs) and don't eat land animals in the house. Bonus points if you are plant-based! If not, bringing dairy into the house is fine and having land animal meat around would be fine (i.e. left overs or delivery) , but we would ask you not to cook any land animals in the kitchen (BBQ outside is okay). We would be excited to cook healthy, plant-based meals and share food altogether. We are slowly eliminating plastic from the home and tend to avoid unnatural and/or strong fragrances (e.g., Glade plug ins, Axe body spray). We aren't completely plastic free, but we are working on replacing cookware, etc. for healthier consumption. Maybe you also know how hard this is to do and we can support each other in this endeavor. =] We both don't smoke and mostly don't drink. Tommy doesn't drink at all and Julia abstains most of the time. So we are hoping for someone that is similar, but is also comfortable if there were guests having a drink. Don't misunderstand, we love to have fun, get silly, and host gatherings.
