We are looking for the perfect person / family to rent our beloved home while we go overseas for 1 - 3+ years. We are looking for this person(s) to make this a home and care for it (this is not a "rental", it's our home), to care for the yard and garden and make memories here. We are hoping to rent it a "partially" furnished home. We are hoping to leave basement with items as shown in images. We are willing to leave our sofas and dining room table as well as a few other items ... we can discuss. We will use the garage as our storage space, but you will have access to storage shed.
We are looking for a 14 month lease at a minimum.
About the house:
Covered back patio, carport, full basement, tree house, wood floors throughout, gas fireplace on main level, wood fireplace in basement, pool table, ping pong table. Large bedroom and small bedroom on upper level, 2 bedrooms on main level and one bedroom (no egress window, but does have 2 exits) in basement. Small kitchenette in basement with separate entrance. Full bathroom on each floor, upstairs bathroom just remodeled with soaker tub, a 6 foot shower with a skylight and dual sink. Modern colors throught-out and hardwood floors. Carpet in basement only. We live on a great street, we know all of our neighbors. We often will pull the fire pit on the street and all hang out (dead end street). The house is next to Irving park, so you are steps away from the playground, tennis courts and basketball courts. If you don't like the sound of children laughing or playing this is not the house for you.
Whole foods and New Seasons are within walking distance as well as public transport, restaurants and access to highways all within minutes.
We are also looking for someone that will look after the garden
