ROOM FOR RENT: ONE BEDROOM available for rent within a 3BR row home located in a quiet part of the Grad Hospital area. The house was built within the last year (2017), so everything is brand new. We are looking for a housemate (potentially open to a couple sharing one bedroom, with price adjustment) to start lease 6/1 (move-in date negotiable in June). The home is a three-story (finished basement and two floors) 3 bed 2.5 bath row home located in the 2500 block of Carpenter Street. Both current roommates are male graduate students at Penn and will be staying here long-term. Housemate must be respectful, non-smoker, and organized.
The house is wide and spacious, with hardwood flooring throughout. The room for rent is located in the sunny backside of the house and shares a brand new bathroom with another roommate. The finished basement is used as an office space currently, while the house is mostly furnished. Tenant will have to provide own furniture for the bedroom. Tenant will also have access to the whole house. There is plenty of room to live, cook, and study freely. Laundry machine and dryer is located in the half bathroom on the first floor.
Location is walkable to Rittenhouse, two grocery stores, restaurants on South Street, and CHOP/Penn. Very safe, residential neighborhood. Extremely accessible to I-76, and plenty of free and permitted street parking available with proof of residence. Dogs may be considered if approved by the landlord with an additional pet deposit and monthly pet rent, but will be considered on a case by case basis. We currently have two young, well-behaved dogs in the house.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you d like to see the house and room. Again, this is a ROOM FOR RENT.
