Lease terms

Tenant's are required to maintain yard (keep grass trimmed and weeded), shovel snow in winter, salt front porch steps when icy. The back porch is furnished with an armoire on the lower level and office furniture on upper level (as pictured). These pieces may not be moved without landlord's consent, but tenants have access to use both for storage or office use. There is no smoking of any kind within the house and parties/gatherings of more than 8 require owner's consent. This is a quiet, tree-lined street of primarily single family homes. Pet's are welcome, but tenant is responsible for cleaning up after pets and any significant damage to yard made by dogs. There is a one bedroom apartment in the basement that is unoccupied and NOT included in the rental agreement. Owner uses this unit as storage AND periodically occupies apartment when staying in the city (approximately 4 weekends/year). Landlord will give at least 48 hours notice if staying in the apartment and will not enter the main house during visits as there is a side entrance to the basement.
