We are moving out from the current apartment at the end of Oct. and looking for someone to take over our contract. The apartment is available on Oct. 30 but can be flexible.
On the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
Walk to Mountain View Caltrain / VTA light-rail station within 6 min. and to Castro St. within 8 min.
Indoor square footage ~ 750-800 sq. ft. (we measured)
New wooden floor in the living room and new carpet in the bedrooms
New stone granite table-top counter and new electric stove / oven in the kitchen
With a dish washer, in-sink garbage disposal, a refrigerator
With a private patio next to the living room
Washer & dryer available in the community
1 covered parking and a lot of (more than 20) 2nd car / guest parking spaces
Yard and a swimming pool in the community
Sound isolation is good; no noise from the top-floor and neighborhood units
Not much noise from Caltrain though the apartment is close to Caltrain station
We do actually like the apartment, but our working hours have changed. Caltrain is not ideal for late night. The rent for my current contract is $1,850/month with a security deposit of $1,000; the contract ends at the end of August, 2012. (The rent will be raised to $1,900/month if you sign a contract with the apartment manager instead of taking over my contract.) We are planning to move out on Oct. 29th, but its flexible. We will clean the apartment thoroughly before the tenants move in.
This listing is cheaper than the average 2 bedroom home in Mountain View by $1,054.
