You can walk everywhere! even though it's close to everything, the street it's on is pretty quiet. This historic home has been remodeled and upgraded with new stainless appliances including a Bosch dishwasher. Yard has been fully enclosed with a picket fence. Could be used for dual or blended-family living, because main floor has large bedroom and attached bath. Upstairs has four bedrooms (two large, two small) and a full bath. Shared student housing okay.
Main floor is oak hardwood, tile and new carpet in bedroom. Upstairs four bedrooms have new carpet and tile. Bathrooms have been fully gutted and remodeled with white subway & hex tile. All hardware is period. Outdoor area is covered.
There is not air conditioning. We (landlords) are going to put in a mini-split air handler unit, which is basically ductless AC. The house is old and actually stays pretty cool in summer (windows on north and east side) and there are big trees so we think this is the best option. The detached garage is not for rent, nor is the empty lot next door.
