Longwood Towers luxury apartments in Brookline, MA; built in 1924, originally served as one of the most luxurious and prestigious residential hotels in the area. Established as Alden Park Manor, the towers were home to a number of the prominent celebrities, socialites and athletes, including sports legend Babe Ruth. Over the course of its existence, the three Gothic-style brick towers (Alden, Belden, Chatham) comprising the property have been renovated to update the interiors and preserve their distinctive architectural style. Before Alden Tower was purchased by Chestnut Hill Realty and completely renovated inside in 2010, and the other two towers were sold as condominiums.
