This is a 1948 brick house on 1/3 of an acre, that is behind a lot (not on the street!) with lots of trees, fire pit, and garden space, an artesian well, and large brick bread/pizza oven (and commercial 80qt mixer).
The main floor is all hardwoods, with the kitchen, living, and dining room, two bedrooms, and a full bath.
The basement was remodeled (with new footing drains - no moisture!) with two bedrooms, full bath, pantry, family room and extra workout/office room.
Gas fireplace, double oven (one convection), gas stove (five burners), new fridge, washer/dryer, fiber internet to the house.
Detached garage being used as a shop, with brick oven in it.
We are looking for a family that wants to garden. There are lots of projects in the yard, and lots of opportunity to be outside. We have an area for chickens, and a coop (no chickens presently).
Our family is myself, my wife, and son. We are moving to Utah, but I will be back in town at least twice a month. I would be willing to reduce rent if I could rent a room in the basement for the times I return, but this is not a requirement.
If you are handy, I am willing to pay for some work around the house as well (finish carpentry, projects).
Absolutely, positively, no smoking. The lease will include a $5000 fine for any smoking in the house.
