You will share covered outdoor laundry facilities with me and there's a shared table and chairs on the concrete patio but your house is totally private. You get the good parking spot in the front yard. The property is located in the historic Villa Verde neighborhood in Encanto - lots of little art houses from the 20s and 30s that people have put a lot of effort into fixing up. You can walk to a coffee shop or diner, 5-10 minute drive to downtown. I've been here for five years and never had my car broken into, never had someone climb over the fence, never been accosted on the street, etc. My mom and my sister live down the street. A nice safe quiet neighborhood, I know a lot of my neighbors and we help each other out. About me: I'm a 46 year old male writer, sober for 14 years (so if you're a party animal, this isn't the place for you). Happy to have you talk to other tenants who will verify that I'm not a slumlord or a creep. I have a dog and a special needs cat who hang out in the yard (I clean up after them every day). No more pets, please. Yard isn't huge but you're welcome to use what little space there is. No tobacco products, weed is fine. No drunks, no hard drugs, no drama.
