Located at the rear of the property behind our house with a separate entrance and small garden, which includes a Weber barbecue area, coffee table, two chairs and a small fountain.
This cottage is for a quiet tenant who values a tranquil, quiet, safe space to live.

Set in a middle class safe, quiet family neighborhood area of Glen Ellen very close to vineyards and perfectly positioned near major commute arteries for easy access to other parts of the wine country, San Francisco, Santa Rosa the Russian River and the ocean. You can hear the owls at night yet you are only 10-15 minutes from downtown Sonoma and all the services.
Hwy 12 between Sonoma and Santa Rosa is a 3-minute drive between the vineyards from the cottage.
Within five minutes of many wineries such as BR Cohn, Benzinger, and Wellington as well as Glen Ellen Village Market. Glen Ellen features several fine restaurants and bars too.
Walking distance to Sonoma Valley Regional Park (a 162 acre park) with trails for hiking, bicycling and horseback riding as well as public picnic areas.
Tenant is responsible for electricity and gas and the cottage has its own meter to facilitate this. Prior tenants monthly rates for electricity and gas have been as low as $16 per month and as high as $79 depending on the tenants living patterns and actual use seasonally.
Rent is $1685 per month which includes Garbage & Water.
A refundable security/cleaning is deposit is due with all rentals. References and good credit with a high Fico Score required to qualify. Please address this in your response.
This is NON-Smoking property. No smoking is permitted in the cottage or anywhere on the property. If you are a smoker this rental is not a good fit for you or us.
We love animals but have rented to people with environmental allergies and want to continue to be able to do so as it's hard for them to find anywhere that does not pose an issue to their allergies. For the sake of future renters who may suffer with allergies we do not allow pets of any kind not even with a pet deposit-No Exceptions!
