We moved to CA and need to transfer the rest of our lease! The condo is rented from a private owner. You will file a lease application with them and then they will transfer our lease to you. The unit is available October 1st (or earlier) through July 31st, 2018, with the option to renew for another year.
This 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath, 950-square-foot condo is in a 1980s construction 12-unit complex. The neighborhood is quiet but with easy (5-minute drive, 10 minute bike ride, 30 minute walk) access to downtown. It's situated between Old Enfield and Clarksville within walking distance of the grocery, shops and restaurants on West Lynn.
The first floor of the condo features a living room, dining area, half bath, and kitchen. The dining area has double doors that lead to a French balcony and the living room has a working fireplace. A stacked washer/dryer is located in the kitchen. The kitchen comes furnished with a refrigerator, electric stove top oven, microwave and dishwasher.
The second floor has two bedrooms each with walk-in closets and vaulted ceilings. The master bedroom has a slightly bigger closet, a balcony w/ double doors, and direct access to the bathroom. The bathroom features a sliding glass tub/shower.
Hardwood floors throughout living room, dining area, and bedrooms. Carpet on the stairs and upstairs landing. Tile in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Below the condo is a covered parking area with an assigned spot, and there is an additional assigned spot in an uncovered parking lot. No parking fees.
Rent is $1645 a month, which is very reasonable considering the space, neighborhood and proximity to downtown. Tenants are responsible for electricity bill and, if desired, cable/internet.
Pets OK (we have two dogs), but you will have to pay a pet deposit ($300 per animal).
You will also be required to pay a security deposit, equal to 1 month's rent, and there is a $150 processing fee for your background check. You will be signing paperwork provided by our landlord.
As mentioned, landlord is the owner of the unit (she used to live here) and manages the lease with the help of the real estate agency she owns, so they are professional and responsive to issues or requests. Top notch landlord.
