Hi and thanks for looking!!
Hung over, gonna write a lot while I nurse this bloody Mary. Yay.
We believe in NON CORPORATE MANAGEMENT. I'll know your name and I know your place. And I'll bring you wine
This unit is limited to a maximum of two adults. We are not interested in a three roommate situation. Or more, goofball that'll ask.
We've got a two bedroom, one bath unit in a triplex built in 1874 for rent. We gutted it and started from scratch with some stuff, but kept much of the original character and charm. It's got a great Art Deco style look in the living spaces, but the kitchen and bath are new. We left some of the original wood floors, and added the rest, so there isn't any carpeting, anywhere. The kitchen is brand new...granite countertops with tumbled marble backsplashes including inlays, stainless appliances including a dishwasher. It has central A/C (evaporative), and a new furnace. Lots of basement storage, it's a full stand up, with 12 x12 or so for storage. Although the inside is modern and has lots of character, the outside is muy boring. We buy ugly properties, and since we aren't flippers, we concentrate the cash on the insides. They usually come out pretty. Please, do a Google street search on 1207 E. 27th St., 80205. That's what the outside looks like.
There are two off street, gated parking spaces behind a heavy wrought iron gate. They are private, and you walk right into your yard. Sorry, there isn't a garage included with this unit. Outside storage and a basement, yes, however.
The interior...We use deeper paint colors, so it doesn't feel like the corporate white that we're all used to. The layout is good...the bedrooms are separated by the large living room, so it's private. Great trimwork, remote controlled ceiling fans, a whole house evaporative cooler (a/c), and an efficient new furnace. Brand new water heater. New roof, washer and dryer included, and hardwood floors throughout, no [removed] carpet.
It has a yard with a patio...perfect for the table, chairs, and a grill. I'll include a grill if you don't have one, and a smoker if you'd like. Gotta make me a burger though.
The unit is at 27th and Downing, which is definitely downtown, central Denver. You can wave to your buddy that works in the skyscrapers. Five minutes from Lodo, five minutes from 17th street, or a quick bike ride. It's a $5 cab ride from downtown, an easy bike ride, or the light rail is a block away. Maybe some day we'll be able to ride it to the moon. If they can get the current plans done. After another $300 billion and a 25% sales tax hike. Idiots. I digress.
Or, get one of those awesome lil scooters and race up and down Downing. We could start a scooter gang.
There is a private fenced yard, if you have a pup. You can garden in the two gardens if you'd like, sit outside and veg out, or whatever. It's yours. You can very much open up your back door and let your pup run out back and have a blast. No more walking the pooch three times a day.
No pet rent, but likely a refundable pet deposit, depending on the breed. We won't accept pit bulls (duh), basset hounds, or any horrible, howling, barking breed. Probably would need to beat a ma**le cat for a few minutes to see if it marks. If you are a good pet owner (you know who you are and aren't. Please, pass me by if you're a pet "caretaker". I have two awesome mutts, and training an animal isn't for quitters. I know the puppy was cute in the store and you just can't understand why it won't poop outside, like you do princess, but it's YOUR fault it's not trained, not the [removed] dog.),We'll happily give it back! Excel bills are on you.
All of our units are 110% non smoking. You'll be looking at a [removed] suicide situation if you smoke indoors, so please, don't call me if you're a filthy, stinky smoker. Go ahead, call the ACLU. You're disgusting and an addict.
It'll be available on June 1st.
If you are interested, I definitely prioritize phone calls (please leave a mssg) over emails. Especially if you have questions about more than one thing. I'm not a big typist, I'd end up spilling my [removed] beer on the keyboard. Sucks. More about the beer than the keyboard. I digress again.
Thanks for looking, good luck in your search!!
