Looking for a Female housemate to share a 2bed/2bath apartment unit, that is a spacious 1,175 square feet! I currently live here and my housemate is moving out. We are looking for someone to fill her lease through the end of August, with the option to extend the lease for another 12 months if it works out well! This apartment has a small outdoor deck attached. The shared living space/kitchen has new wood laminate flooring and the bedrooms have new carpet installed just last year. The shared areas - kitchen and living space, are roomy with lots of natural light from windows. Washer/dryer is available in the unit. There is a shared community courtyard with table/chairs, hammock and BBQ that is accessible from our floor. The building is located on a quiet, tree-lined, residential street. It's extremely convenient to grab groceries at the local Trader Joe's or Safeway - just blocks away. It's also blocks from great dining with restaurants/cafes on 15th Ave. and 19th Ave. within walking distance. Also walkable is the Capitol Hill night-life scene if that suits your fancy. We are located far enough from the main strip of Capitol Hill, that it is a nice and quiet retreat from the bustling bar scene. The 12 bus line stops just in front of our building and goes straight downtown. Other bus routes (the 8 and 11) are around the corner as well and the CH LINK light rail station is a quick ~10-12 min walk away. There's a gated garage for the building's tenants and parking is $60/month (a steal for this neighborhood)! No pets please. Volunteer Park is roughly a mile away and Miller Park is about a couple of blocks from the building - with tennis courts, a soccer/baseball field, and picnic areas for the summer. What's your room like? The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom is roomy. Currently, my housemate fits a dresser, night stand, and full bed with space to spare. It has a full closet, as well as two sets of windows that allow for plenty of natural light for any plants! Your private bathroom has a discreet storage closet with a good amount of space to tuck away your belongings. Rent will be $1200/month + utilities for the master bedroom/private bathroom through end of the lease (August 25, 2018). Looking for someone to be able to move-in ASAP (as early as end of March to early April). Option to extend lease for another year.
