Prefer minimum lease term 6-12 months with opportunity for month to month extension after 1 year. Location - 1171 Oak St, San Francisco, CA 94117 Condo Sq Footage: 1250 sqft. Master Bedroom Size: 11.25 feet by 13.25 feet in size Bathrooms: 2.5 Baths, including private bathroom exclusively used by master bedroom housemate Parking: Street parking with residential permit Lease Duration: Flexible, but prefer 6-12 Months Minimum with option to extend Deposit: $2,000 Pets Policy: No Pets Allowed Laundry: In Unit Floor: 3 Property Type: Condo WHO WE ARE We are two 40-something male professionals looking for a third housemate in our furnished 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath two-level condo with a third staircase leading up to a great roof deck with East Bay views. One of the current housemates only spends ~1/4th of his time in SF so for 75% of the time during the year, the entire condo will be occupied by only two housemates. The full-time housemate is a design educator, consultant, and author whose career has been at the intersection of social impact and technology. The part-time housemate is a start-up executive who travels extensively. If you work from home, it's expected that online meetings and calls are held inside our private rooms, and shared areas are meant for quiet relaxation. IDEAL HOUSEMATE PROFILE We're looking for a third housemate who is independent, quiet, tidy and clean (we have a shoes off inside condo policy), drug-free, pet-free, and drama-free. Like us, this housemate enjoys socializing outside the condo but prefers their home to be a quiet, relaxing retreat. Social gatherings in the condo might be the occasional but infrequent small dinner or rooftop gathering. This is an ideal living situation for someone who wants to move into a fully furnished living situation and isn't bringing much besides personal clothes and items. AVAILABLE FURNISHED MASTER BEDROOM The available furnished bedroom for $2,000/month is essentially the master bedroom in the condo. The master bedroom is 11.25 feet by 13.25 feet in size. It has a private adjoining full bathroom with toilet, sink, and standing shower. The master bedroom features a large closet and two windows with one of them facing the sunrise light. The master bedroom comes furnished with a queen size bed and a nightstand. THE CONDO The rest of the condo, including dining and living room areas, are already furnished with tables, couches, and seating, plus fully stocked kitchen appliances and supplies. The washer and dryer are located on the second floor inside the condo. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, range, microwave, and fridge, as well as pots and pans, good kitchen knives, dinnerware & flatware, and small appliances (e.g electric pressure cooker, food processor, blender, sous vide). The condo is located in the rear of the building not facing Oak Street so it's very quiet. None of the rooms face Oak Street. It's essentially tucked in the middle of the block between Oak and Page. For outdoor space, there is a small private outdoor backyard in the back (perfect if you want to start a garden!), plus an amazing roof deck with views of Alamo Square and East Bay. If you need garage parking, there is a space available for an additional $500/month. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The condo location is perfect for cycling and walking. There is secure bicycle parking in the garage. There is no garage parking so if you own a car, you will need to pay for a residential street parking permit. You can walk to Haight-Ashbury, Castro, Hayes Valley, Panhandle, Fillmore, Cole Valley, or Mission - all within 10-30 minutes walk depending on the direction you go. It's located across from the Falletti's grocery store and Peet's Coffee - and lots of other amenities along the Divisadero corridor like Bi-Rite, Nopa, Ragazza, Nopalito, Sightglass, The Mill, and more. Every Sunday the Farmer's Market occurs across the street at the DMV parking lot. One block from Panhandle and 15 minute walk to Golden Gate Park. Perfect locations for walks, runs, and bike rides to Golden Gate Park. 1-2 blocks from public transit 24 Divis, 21 Hayes, 7 Haight, as well as 2 blocks from corporate shuttle stops.
