For those who are new to Seattle and may not be familiar with the west side of QA, it is in a micro climate. It is consistantly 3-8 degrees cooler here in the summer. When it's 80 degrees in town, it's 72 degrees sitting under the cherry tree in the back yard. The west side of Queen Anne Hill is air conditioned by an an upsloping Elliot Bay breeze. Eagles are often spotted circling above the house or perched in the tree across the street. This neighborhood is truly a little slice of heaven in the summer.
