We are renting a beautiful cottage in the Soquel hills located 10 minutes from freeway on a ridge top in a garden setting, available after May 1 (possibly sooner) with a one year lease. This detached 480 sq. ft. studio is private and quiet. We live on a private road and there is PARKING FOR ONE CAR ONLY making our cottage suitable for ONE PERSON ONLY. We will allow a dog with an extra $50 per month and a $500 pet deposit. Move-in requires first and last months rent at $1650 a month and a $1650 deposit. Landlord pays garbage, electricity and water. It is the tenant's responsibility to maintain the propane account and cable. Come check out our place and if it suits you, we charge a $30 fee for a reference, credit and background check. Please note: there is a washer and dryer but is the tenant's responsibility to maintain. NO SMOKING. AVAILABLE May 1. Sorry, no co-signers. *Free standing cottage w/ 480 sq ft plus a 80 sq ft covered outdoor room plus an extra storage space. *Suitable for ONE PERSON ONLY. Really...ONE. Even if you are a very small couple...NO. We don't have room for 2 cars. *Pets: One dog with a pet deposit and the up fee. No cats (our cats won't have it). Your dog must get along with cats, people and other dogs. Our property has a complete deer fence. *Full kitchen w/propane cook stove and full size refrigerator *Heat: Efficient propane heater and double pane windows. *Landlord maintains: Electricity, garbage and water. *Tenant maintains: Cable (studio is cable ready), washer and dryer and propane (used for hot water, house and cooking). Use of an electric heater will raise the monthly rent to reflect that. *Private entry and fenced in yard. Bright and warm with a large skylight. wooden floors, vaulted ceilings, and soft, filtered water. *Share 2 beautiful acres with gardens, ponds, and fruit trees *Large bathroom with shower only (no tub). 3+ miles (10 minute drive) to Freeway, very quiet and peaceful. We are looking for someone used to country living.
