Golden Gate Marina, San Francisco, California Vaca

This is a new building, constructed in 2001. I was one of the first tenants in the building and have enjoyed every moment here. It is spacious with very high ceilings over 12 feet throughout the property. There is lovely recessed lighting and lamps throughout, as well as an electric remote controlled fireplace for a very romantic setting! I love to curl up on the couch , turn on my fireplace, and watch a movie on my 50 inch HD TV. I have Premium Digital Cable with multiple movie channels. My windows are double-paned and although I live in a busy area, I never hear the traffic. My bathroom is very large with fan and heater in the ceiling for a relaxing bubble or salt bath - it is WONDERFUL! All of the appliances - washer and dryer in the home, oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwav ...(show more) e, and the plumbing system, are all brand new in this building. There is a desk/office nook for your own laptop and wireless connection. I have a very nice gym quality treadmill in my home for you to get a workout and I also have a professional massage table so you can call a masseuse for an in-home service or you can do your own spa and massage treatments! There is a reading corner with a comfy armchair and it's own lamp. The bedroom is large and airy with a bed I call "The Cloud" - you will have a hard time getting up for breakfast in one of the many adorable cafes in the area. There is an inflatable bed with pump which can be placed in the living room, it's great fun for a camp-out for the kids or extra space for adults. I am on Chestnut Street, which is one of the cutest streets in SF and only 3 blocks from Union Street, which attracts people from all over the world. The Marina is a very international and chic District and I love walking to the Golden Gate Bridge via Fort Mason, Crissy Field, and The Palace of Fine Arts. I do this most every Sunday. I could not be happier and would only live in this area. I am only minutes away from the theatres downtown and the funky South of Market area. There are 2 movie cinemas within walking distance, as well as many fun and lively bars and restaurants. I receive many inquiries asking me, "What is the parking situation?". This is always a common concern visiting any metropolitan city.. there is street parking and there are 3 garages within a very short walk from my home. There is no parking in the building, but none of my guests have mentioned that they had any problems parking on the street. If you are planning to stay a week or two, I would recommend purchasing a Visitor's Parking Permit at The SF Municipal Transportation Agency Website. This is my primary residence, though I am often away traveling for work and/or staying with my partner. I am in the residence approximately 25% of the time.
