Aug 1, 2019Pros: Safe location. Maintenance requests addressed promptly. Luxer package lockers are safe and convenient. Options for loft style apartments with nice high ceilings. In-unit washer/dryer. Cons: Required valet parking is a significant downside. My car has been damaged by them multiple times. Management is very inflexible with leasing issues. To break your lease, you must provide 90 days notice, pay a penalty of 2 months rent, then continue to pay an additional 3 months rent unless they can lease it sooner. They also make it difficult and inconvenient to lease for less than a year. Month to month leases are double the cost of a year long rental. They also typically do not offer the option to renew for shorter periods like 6 months. Management frequently sends out emails that are somewhat unprofessional. My experience has been ok overall, but it is probably worthwhile to pay a little more to live in a more upscale building with professional management staff.
